Job Description

Position Summary:

The Service Leader Reservations supervises the reservation functions for the hotel ensuring that all reservations are processed in a pleasant professional and efficient manner. Manages and coordinates activities of reservations team members providing reservations and customer service skills. Achieving customer satisfaction and room revenue goals while talking to guests through the booking process. Assist the Reservations Manager with retraining and developing reservation officers. Assist in providing highquality service and exceeding client or guest expectations. Quality call monitoring by tracking and evaluating the process and giving feedback based on performance evaluation. Maintains consistent quality to ensure in compliance with companys policies and procedures.


Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Provides valueadded service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Communicates effectively with customers coworkers and managers.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting coworkers as needed. Act as a main resource for reservation associates needing assistance technically or with regards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Handles difficult situations effectively. Demonstrate excellent problemsolving skills and quickly resolving customer issues.
  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor even in challenging situations.
  • Adheres to the provisions outlined in the Employee Handbook Disciplinary Code and Rules and Regulations.
  • Adheres to the set procedures for attendance and timekeeping.
  • Attends all scheduled meetings as required with HODs or Sales team.
  • As assigned and at all opportunities assists guest directly and indirectly to resolve problems.
  • Possesses full knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Ensures proper care and maintenance of equipment in the area of assignment.
  • Adheres to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards of the company.
  • Attends scheduled training and participates in companyinitiated employee activities. Train newly recruited reservations associate in taking reservations telephone etiquettes and reservation module on hotel and processing emails.
  • Is fully aware of and complies with the Companys Environmental Policy and established rules and guidelines.
  • Practice the Guiding Principles in daytoday interaction.
  • Monitor room availability together with the sales team to maximize occupancy.
  • Performs such other functions as may be delegated by management from time to time.
