ARCHITECTURAL BIM COORDINATOR

Architecture BIM Coordinator with a focus on fitout projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate the design planning and execution of fitout works working closely with architects contractors and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met within budget and on schedule. The role requires strong communication skills indepth knowledge of architectural fitout processes and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• FitOut Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate all aspects of architectural fitout projects ensuring that all design and construction elements are aligned with client specifications regulations and timelines.
• Design Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between architects interior designers contractors and clients to ensure seamless integration of design intent with practical implementation.
• Documentation and Drawings: Review and prepare design documents drawings and specifications related to fitout works ensuring compliance with local regulations project requirements and client preferences.
• Site Supervision: Attend site meetings conduct site visits and ensure that fitout works are executed in accordance with the architectural design and quality standards. Monitor and resolve site issues as they arise.
• Project Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules tracking progress and ensuring that fitout works are completed on time and within budget.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control the budget for fitout works including cost estimates procurement and value engineering.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of work is in accordance with approved design and specifications reviewing materials and finishes for compliance with standards.
• Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and subcontractors to procure necessary materials and finishes ensuring timely delivery and installation as per the design and project timeline.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all fitout works comply with relevant building codes health & safety regulations and environmental sustainability standards.
• Client Communication: Provide regular updates and status reports to clients addressing any concerns or changes in scope schedule or budget.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture Interior Design Construction Management or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture coordination with a focus on fitout projects. Experience in managing the design and execution of office retail commercial or hospitality fitouts is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of architectural and interior design principles construction methods materials and finishes.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and other design software; familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Procore or similar) is an advantage.
• Project Management: Strong understanding of project lifecycle including planning design procurement and construction phases.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot issues and propose effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• ProblemSolving: Ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues in design coordination site management or execution.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) LEED or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with FitOut Regulations: Knowledge of local building codes regulations and standards specific to fitout works.
• Knowledge of Sustainability: Understanding of sustainable design practices and environmental regulations.
