We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Tandoor Cuisine to join our culinary team in Mysuru India. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for preparing authentic tandoor dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor dishes including breads meats and vegetables
- Manage the tandoor section of the kitchen ensuring smooth operations and timely food preparation
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
- Maintain proper food safety and hygiene standards in the tandoor area
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in tandoor cooking techniques
- Monitor and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies for the tandoor section
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation for all tandoor dishes
- Assist in menu planning and food cost control for the tandoor section
Qualifications :
- 23 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role specializing in tandoor cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine with expertise in tandoor cooking techniques
- Proficiency in menu planning food safety and kitchen management
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Culinary degree or diploma preferred
- Familiarity with local ingredients and flavors of Mysuru and surrounding regions is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
