Top Requirements:
5 years experience with Oracle Essbase
Application support experience
Monitoring tools; need to have a wide variety of experience as this always changes on the team
Basic scripting: Linux/Unix/Oracle
Strong communication
Someone that can be technical and dig in
Description/Day to Day:
This team is currently in a transition phase with people on the team doing installs and upgrades for infrastructure type solutions. They are moving to application support/platform application functionality. They have been working with Essbase Hyperion team in EFT for some time due to the segregation of duties; they are working on transitioning some activities. This team is looking for someone with hands on experience in Hyperion Essbase with strong Oracle and Unix scripting. This team does the support for the Essbase developers in EFT so this person must be flexible and be willing to learn new things. The core will be Hyperion Essbase but the focus is application support working tickets installs upgrades and interfacing with tools that do the monitoring.
