Job Title Performance Testing

Location Chennai

Experience 8 15 Years

Requirements:

  1. Performance Testing Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and define the performance testing strategy and framework ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
    • Create performance testing plans including scope objectives schedules and resource allocation.
    • Evaluate and recommend performance testing tools and technologies to meet project needs.
  2. Test Design & Development:
    • Architect design and implement performance test cases scripts and scenarios for web mobile and desktop applications.
    • Design and develop load stress scalability and endurance tests to validate system performance under various conditions.
    • Involved in developing load and performance test scripts using Web Services Java and Microservices architecture.
  3. Execution & Monitoring:
    • Lead the execution of performance tests analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
    • Monitor system performance during tests and provide realtime feedback to development teams.
    • Use performance monitoring tools to gather metrics and assess the systems performance underload.
  4. Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze performance test results to identify trends patterns and root causes of performance issues.
    • Generate detailed performance reports including recommendations for performance tuning and optimization.
    • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders including development teams project managers and executives.
  5. Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Work closely with development operations and QA teams to integrate performance testing into the development lifecycle.
    • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior testers and engineers on performance testing best practices.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends tools and technologies in performance testing and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing with at least 5 years focused on performance testing.
    • Proven experience as a Performance Testing Architect or similar role with a strong background in performance testing tools (e.g. Load Runner JMeter Gatling etc.).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies best practices and tools.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript Python or similar.
    • Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g.Dynatrace App Dynamics New Relic).
    • Knowledge of cloudbased environments (AWS Azure GCP) and their impact on performance testing.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into the DevOps process.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
