Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring that our websites and digital projects meet high standards of functionality usability and design fidelity. You will collaborate closely with our design development and project management teams to verify that all elements are delivered to clients with precision and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Testing:
- Conduct endtoend testing of websites ensuring they perform as expected across multiple devices browsers and operating systems.
Design Verification:
- Compare delivered projects against design mockups to ensure consistency accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
CrossBrowser & CrossDevice Testing:
- Test websites across a variety of devices screen sizes and browsers to verify responsive design and optimal performance.
Usability Testing:
- Assess website navigation user flow and overall experience to identify areas for improvement.
Bug Reporting & Tracking:
- Document issues and defects in detail using project management and bugtracking tools such as JIRA or Trello and work closely with developers to track resolution.
ClientSpecific Standards Compliance:
- Verify websites meet specific requirements for accessibility SEO and loading speed as outlined by the client.
Collaborative Reviews:
- Work closely with the design and development teams to ensure issues are addressed early especially during design handoff and prelaunch phases.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Create comprehensive test reports and maintain detailed documentation on identified issues test cases and final verification results.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 23 years of experience in QA testing focusing on web projects.
- Proven ability to conduct functional usability and crossbrowser testing with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with website testing tools and techniques including experience with automation tools (e.g. Selenium) CSS/HTML validation tools and responsive testing tools.
- Ability to identify design discrepancies in alignment spacing typography color usage and visual consistency.
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and work with developers to implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across design development and clientfacing teams and clearly document testing outcomes.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Testing Tools:
- Familiarity with browserbased testing tools (e.g. BrowserStack & Lamda test) accessibility auditing tools and bug tracking software like JIRA.
Knowledge of Agile Methodology:
- Understanding of Agile processes including sprint planning to facilitate QA integration in development cycles.
Basic Understanding of SEO & Accessibility Standards:
- Knowledge of best practices for web accessibility (e.g. WCAG) and basic SEO standards.
