Job Description
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our team!
As a schoolbased SLP you will be crucial in evaluating and treating students with speech language voice and fluency disorders. You will provide effective and individualized therapy to help students achieve their communication goals and succeed academically and socially. This position will guarantee the candidate fulltime hours until the end of the school year with the ability to renew dependent upon performance.
Job Snapshot:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students utilizing evidencebased practices.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech language voice and fluency disorders in students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings including IEP meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Monitor students progress and adjust treatment plans as needed maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with the students educational team and family.
- Educate and support students families and school staff regarding strategies for improving communication skills and promoting academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers special education staff and other related service providers to integrate therapy goals into students educational programs and classroom activities.
Requirements
- Must hold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certification
- Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Must have the ability to apply for a SLP license in the state of Illinois; license reimbursement is available.
