As the SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) you will play a key role in supporting students communication needs and helping them achieve their full potential. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique challenges related to speech and language disorders.
Role Breakdown:
- Collaborate closely with teachers parents and other educational team members to facilitate students academic and socialemotional growth.
- Record and track student progress meticulously maintaining precise records and preparing detailed reports for IEP meetings and administrative needs.
- Support the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and devices for students with complex communication needs.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to continually enhance skills and stay updated with advancements in the field of speechlanguage pathology.
Requirements
- Must hold ASHA certification to be considered.
- A Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.
- Eligibility for or possession of an SLP license in Georgia is necessary.
- CFYs are welcome to apply and will receive dedicated supervision to support their professional development.
