Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services in an outpatient setting including routine checkups health screenings and preventive care.
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions and manage chronic diseases.
- Perform physical exams prescribe medications and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop treatment plans and educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices disease prevention and management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in the EMR system.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Work Schedule:
- Fulltime position Monday through Friday.
- Standard office hours with potential for flexible scheduling.
- Light call coverage if necessary shared with other practitioners.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- New York State (NYS) Nurse Practitioner license.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Previous experience in a primary care setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop longterm relationships with patients.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate highquality healthcare.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
