We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Catering Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai India. In this role you will be responsible for driving sales growth managing client relationships and leading our catering sales team to success.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase catering revenue and market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and providing tailored catering solutions
- Lead and motivate the catering sales team setting clear goals and providing ongoing coaching and support
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu offerings and pricing strategies
- Oversee the entire sales process from initial client contact to event execution and followup
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Prepare and present sales reports forecasts and budgets to senior management
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the companys catering services
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 35 years of experience in catering sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Indepth knowledge of catering operations food and beverage trends and event planning
- Experience in budgeting financial planning and analyzing food costs
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
