Project:

Maintenance and Further Development of the GAT and RILkE Applications

Context:

The project involves the maintenance and further development of two key applications used for business accounting and vehiclerelated maintenance in the transport services sector: GAT (used for accounting and scheduling of transport services) and RILkE (used for planning maintenance and scheduling of vehicles especially passenger coaches).

Services Required:

Conception Development Testing and Maintenance of the GAT and RILkE applications.

Providing technical expertise and development support for the integration of applications with external systems (SAP AWS Cloud).

Refining evaluating and implementing requirements from the product backlog (Agile/Scrum approach).

Technical support for the analysis design and documentation of system architectures.

Regular release of updates and issue resolutions based on defined sprints and backlog management.

Advice on strategic issues and improvement of system architectures.

Support in setting up development and test environments.

Interface definition and implementation.

Project Details:

Location: Frankfurt am Main (with the possibility of remote work as required).

Service Provision: Services are provided according to the agreed framework with collaboration across several teams. The project will use both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies depending on the application. The work is organized in 3week sprint cycles for RILkE and waterfall for GAT.

Technical Requirements:

o GAT: Involves transforming trainrelated billing data for integration with SAP accounting systems (cost centers crosscompany billing).

o RILkE: Focuses on maintenance cleaning and vehicle change planning. Involves communication with vehicle deployment planning and dispatch systems and adjusting train formation plans.

o Both systems use Oracle SQL APEX and AWS Cloud for data processing and system integration.

Technical Requirements:

Experience:

o At least 4 years of practical experience in IT consulting or similar roles.

o Experience in the transport and logistics sector specifically with planning scheduling and invoicing of transport services.

o Strong knowledge of the technologies and tools used in the project (Oracle SQL APEX AWS UML Enterprise Architect Jira).

o Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and Waterfall.
