Bilingual Customer Care Representative (Health / Dental)
Our client a leader in the Canadian insurance industry is seeking 25 Bilingual Customer Service Representatives to support members in accessing benefits related to Health Dental Life Critical Illness and Life Conversions. This role is crucial in providing clientfocused support at important moments in members lives and involves engagement with various stakeholders within claims and administration teams primarily through email and phone correspondence.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary $24.34.
6month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.
Rotational schedule (EST): Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.
Responsibilities:
Handle inbound customer calls for up to 7 hours daily addressing requests of varying complexity from internal and external clients.
Assist in managing group insurance files and followup processes.
Participate in monthly coaching sessions with team leaders to refine skills and improve service quality.
Engage in weekly rolespecific microlearning activities to enhance service knowledge.
Collaborate in person with colleagues for support feedback and shared learning through activities like call debriefs and shadowing.
What you will need to succeed:
High school diploma required; college degree is an asset.
24 years of customer service experience in information centers retail or service environments.
Bilingual fluency in English and French to support clients in both languages.
Strong problemsolving skills.
Techsavvy with experience using Microsoft applications such as Teams and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal customer service and communication skills.
Adaptability in a fastpaced changing environment with a professional demeanor.
Continuous learner eager to explore new products applications and support materials.
Strong technical and research skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities across administrative systems.
Reliable team player.
Background in group benefits (nicetohave).
Experience in an information center (nicetohave).
