Job Description
You ll be our: Program Manager (Software Mobile App Cloud)
You ll be based at: Bengaluru
You ll be aligned with: Program Lead
You ll be a member of: Program Management Team Corporate Vertical
What you ll do:
Our Company s products are a great concoction of multiple components from different sub
systems (Hardware Firmware Software Cloud). These need to integrate seamlessly
and adapt to the Business requirements (New market development citycountry
expansion etc) & deliver categoryleading performance in every aspect. Hence you ll
be involved in many crossfunctional team (CFT) coordination to solve complex
technical/technology/Operational problems.
In this role you must have good knowledge of software development release
processes and integrating hardware and software while working in an agile
environment.
Manage the daytoday execution of multiple scrum teams working on various
Vehicle / ecosystem products and Backend Systems Connected Platforms and
Mobile Applications.
Track their overall milestone deliverables Releases and Change Management
Processes. Your activities include planning monitoring & closure for sprint activities.
Identify gaps in the system and establish steps to mitigate them. Report any
impediments/red flags & take initiatives to work with CFT for
planning/mitigating/solving impediments to achieve objectives while adhering to
strict deadlines/requirements on Quality Cost and Delivery parameters.
Help set processes in place for efficient execution and build a culture within the swim
lane by establishing the right ways of working.
The teams efficiency depends on your ability to identify risks on a daytoday basis
look for mitigation and be a bridge with the other functions on any impediments.
Here s what we are looking for:
Should have good knowledge of Frontend/Backend systems integration embedded
platforms hardwaresoftware integration Internet of Things(IoT) and software
product development lifecycle(s).
Should be detailoriented with a proven ability to adjust in a fastmoving environment
with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
Should be a selfstarter & gogetter with the ability to multitask and stay on top of a
change proactively
Should be savvy with relevant tools for project management like Excel/GSheets
JIRA Gantt Pro GSuite etc.
Proactive responsive and keen on process enhancement. Proven ability to optimize
execution and increase the predictability of the system
Possess excellent communication and have a good command of verbal and written
skills
Keep a clear focus on details the devils in the details!
Your Knowledge of system components would help you understand issues better. But
more than that your facilitation and communication skills will be tested in this role.
Youve had some stints of using Agile/Scrum to manage and maintain complex
projects across multiple teams.
Finally a getitdone attitude that helps deliver uncompromised quality on time is a
must in this role.
What you ll bring:
A total experience of 79 years in OEM or Tier1 organizations.
Preferably a background in Embedded Systems / Mobile App/Cloud and Backend
development in a Product based organization.
B.E. /B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science Engineering is a requirement
with a recent background in program/project management thatd help understand best
practices in Scrum/Agile.
SAFe Scrum Master Certification Professional Scrum master I/II MBA and PMP
This will be a definite plus but is not mandatory
