Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business needs.
- Analyze large complex datasets to extract valuable insights.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide timely and accurate information to management.
- Utilize SQL Python or other relevant tools to write and optimize data queries and scripts.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify trends patterns and opportunities within the data.
- Transform data into easytounderstand visuals using industrystandard visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI Tableau).
- Provide recommendations to enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data analytics and financial services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a data analysis role within the financial sector preferably within a securities or investment firm.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI Tableau or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial and securities data including familiarity with trading activities portfolio management and market analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Python R) is a plus.
- Selfmotivated detailoriented and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance Economics Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
