We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our team. The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation commissioning preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical engineering excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to effectively resolve customer issues related to UPS systems. The Service Engineer will also be responsible for attending breakdown calls promptly and efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to the customers operations
1. Install commission and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requirements
2. Perform preventive maintenance tasks on UPS systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability including battery inspections voltage checks.
3. Respond to breakdown calls in a timely manner and troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
4. Collaborate with customers to understand their power requirements and provide recommendations for UPS system upgrades or enhancements.
5. Conduct thorough inspections of UPS systems during maintenance visits to identify potential issues and preemptively address them to prevent downtime!
6. Maintain accurate records of service activities including installation details maintenance schedules and repair work performed.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to customers on UPS system operation configuration and troubleshooting procedures.
8. Coordinate with internal teams including sales and engineering to address customer inquiries and resolve complex technical issues.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in UPS technology to provide innovative solutions and enhance service delivery.
10. Uphold safety standards and protocols while performing onsite activities to ensure a safe working environment for both customers and colleagues
11. Willingness to travel to customer sites communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members good technical knowledge of HVAC systems including components controls and troubleshooting techniques
Qualifications
Bachelors of Diploma or BTech in Electrical Engineering
Full Time
