We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in Mechanical Plumbing & Fire Protection (MPFP) systems to join our team immediately. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimations for Mechanical Plumbing and Fire Protection systems including HVAC piping fire suppression and sprinkler systems for construction projects.
- Use Planswift and Bluebeam to accurately measure and extract quantities from construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Review MPFP design plans and collaborate with engineers contractors and project managers to ensure that all cost estimations are precise and aligned with project requirements.
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost reports providing clear breakdowns of material and labor requirements.
- Support the procurement process by providing input on materials and resource quantities for Mechanical Plumbing and Fire Protection works.
- Assist in preparing tender documents bids and contract management for MPFP systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prior solid experience as a specialist in the construction and engineering industry is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mechanical Plumbing & Fire Protection (MPFP) systems within the construction and engineering industry.
- Strong proficiency in Planswift and Bluebeam for measurement takeoffs and cost estimation.
- Indepth knowledge of MPFP systems including mechanical systems (HVAC) plumbing fire protection and associated equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical plumbing and fire protection design drawings and generate accurate cost estimates and material takeoffs.
- Excellent attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
- Immediate availability to join and start contributing to ongoing projects.
