Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior SysOps Engineer who is proficient in Cloud computing system design and management and DevOps methodologies.
Context:
- Position based in France
- 100% remote work
- Competitive salary
Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SysOps
- Proficient in AWS
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Access to a coworking space or comfortable with fulltime remote work
- Ability to adjust to local working hours
Your missions:
- Build deploy manage and evolve Cloud computing infrastructure
- Define standards and best practices in your field
- Work closely with various teams to ensure best practices are applied
- Ensure the reliability flexibility scalability and security of maintained platforms
- Contribute to the prevention and investigation of production issues
Required skills:
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services (EC2 RDS S3 etc.)
- Proficient in Docker
- Programming experience ideally in Python
- Skilled in IaaC preference for CloudFormation
- Proficient in CI/CD (Git Gitlab Jenkins)
- Expert in Linux preference for Amazon Linux or similar
- Familiar with database systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL MariaDB
- Proficient in log management with Elasticsearch and fluentbit/fluentd/logstash
- Solid understanding of distributed systems APIs and cloud computing models
- Good knowledge of security standards and best practices modern methods of authentication and authorization
Soft skills:
- Independent and motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for problemsolving
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus
- Experience working within an international team is preferable
