Position Overview:
This isnt your typical officebased engineering role. As a Field Engineer with Zephyrus Engineering Limited youll be on the front lines ensuring that designs are executed flawlessly safely and within budget. Your expertise will be key to transforming blueprints into functional realworld structures. From bustling urban landscapes to remote client sites your role will shape the very foundation of future skylines public infrastructure and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead OnSite Operations: Oversee project execution with full responsibility for field operations ensuring projects are delivered to exact specifications on time and to the highest quality standards.
Solve RealTime Problems: Be the first responder to field issues using your engineering expertise to diagnose and resolve challenges on the spot. No two days are the same and every day offers a new problem to solve.
ClientFacing Role: Serve as the critical link between clients project managers and subcontractors onsite ensuring that every phase of construction meets client expectations and Zephyrus standards of excellence.
Project Management from the Ground Up: Manage the coordination of materials schedules and labor resources directly on the job site ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Ensure Safety and Compliance: Guarantee that all work is performed in line with safety standards and regulatory requirements maintaining a strict focus on the wellbeing of the team and the integrity of the project.
Field Reporting and Documentation: Provide accurate timely reports on project progress challenges and solutions to ensure seamless communication with the home office and senior management.
Constant Improvement: Continuously look for ways to improve field operations processes and solutions contributing your expertise to enhance project outcomes.
Travel and Exploration: Embrace the opportunity to travel to diverse project sites from major urban centers to challenging offthegrid locations. Each site offers a unique set of challenges and learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelors degree in Civil Mechanical or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of handson experience in a field engineering role especially within largescale infrastructure or commercial construction projects.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in AutoCAD Revit and fieldtesting equipment.
Solid understanding of construction processes materials and methods.
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and industry standards.
Proficiency in project management software and field documentation tools.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional problemsolving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
Strong communication skills youll be interacting with clients team members and stakeholders regularly.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fastpaced everchanging environment.
Strong leadership potential guide and mentor junior engineers and team members in the field.
