We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and dedicated Proposal Coordinator to join our team. This position is crucial for ensuring that our proposals are not only comprehensive but also compelling ultimately helping us win new business and maintain strong client relationships.
The Proposal Coordinator will play an integral role in the full lifecycle of proposal development. This includes working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to gather information create persuasive written materials manage timelines and ensure adherence to submission guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
Lead the compilation and formatting of proposals ensuring that all submissions are accurate timely and adhere to required specifications.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and team members to gather relevant data insights and content for proposals.
Project Management:
Develop and maintain a detailed project timeline to track proposal milestones responsibilities and deadlines.
Coordinate internal reviews and approvals to ensure highquality outputs and alignment with overall company strategy.
Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on potential clients industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform proposal strategies.
Analyze past proposals to identify successful themes and strategies that can be leveraged in future submissions.
Collaboration and Communication:
Act as a liaison between departments facilitating effective communication among team members involved in the proposal process.
Provide updates to project stakeholders managing expectations and ensuring everyone is informed of progress.
Quality Assurance:
Review and proofread all materials for grammatical accuracy clarity and consistency.
Implement feedback from team members and ensure that final submissions are polished and professional.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Communications or a related field.
A minimum of 24 years of experience in proposal coordination or project management preferably within a corporate or nonprofit environment.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a proven ability to create clear and persuasive content.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and proposal management software (e.g. RFPIO RFP360).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
