The knowledge of a great Concierge Agent is the expectation of our guests when staying at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your ability to anticipate guests needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Guest Relations Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Offer professional consistent friendly and engaging service
- Ensure interdepartmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction
- Providing accurate information about activities and dining in the hotel and area
- Offering assistance to all guests in making reservations and arrangements for travel dining special request and activities
- Serve as a liaison for guests by providing information relating to all aspects of the hotel
- Maintain knowledge of the hotels emergency procedures
- Maintaining good working relations with local businesses restaurants and other hotel departments
- Comply with all department policies procedures and service standards
- Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
- Performing general office duties
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your skillset includes:
- Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset
- Must possess outstanding guest service skills including professional verbal communication skills
- Good computer literacy (experience using Property Manager System preferred and proficiency in MS Word Outlook and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable demonstrating initiative as required
- Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fastpaced teambased environment
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role including:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
