You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs an Assistant Outlet Manager you will lead the operations of a specific outlet. Your key duties and responsibilities will be to ensure profitable operations, achieve outlet business goals, ensure the manning schedule is up to date, oversee regular preventative maintenance, maintain outlet safety and sanitation standards, and lead by example through a ‘hands on’ approach to motivate team members to excel. You will also manage team member performance, identify any training needs, develop and deliver the required training for supervisors and team members in an effective way to maximise guest satisfaction and develop team members to enable them to achieve their career goals.
Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the outlet, ensuring smooth functioning of all aspects, including service delivery, inventory management, and staffing.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that guests have an exceptional experience, addressing any complaints or special requests promptly and professionally. Ensure staff is delivering high-quality service at all times.
Staff Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate the outlet’s team of servers, cooks, bartenders, or retail staff, setting performance standards, conducting evaluations, and promoting a positive work environment.
Financial Management: Monitor the outlet's financial performance, including budgeting, managing costs, maximizing revenue, and controlling expenses. Work to meet or exceed sales and profit goals.
Inventory and Stock Management: Ensure that inventory levels (food, beverages, retail products, etc.) are appropriately maintained, orders are placed on time, and stock is stored and handled properly. Minimize waste and manage the ordering process.
Menu and Product Oversight: Collaborate with the culinary team or suppliers to ensure that the menu or product offerings are fresh, appealing, and cost-effective. Regularly review and update the offerings based on trends, seasonality, and customer preferences.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that the outlet adheres to health and safety standards, including food hygiene, workplace safety, and alcohol service laws.
College diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
Previousexperience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations management role

Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to lead by example and motivate a team, ensuring consistent performance and maintaining a positive work environment.
Customer Service Orientation: A strong focus on guest satisfaction, with the ability to anticipate guest needs, address complaints, and ensure an outstanding dining or shopping experience.
Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control. Ability to manage expenses, drive revenue, and meet profitability goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, staff, vendors, and senior management.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to handle problems and conflicts, whether related to customer service issues, staffing challenges, or operational concerns.
Organization and Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities at once while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Inventory and Stock Control: Experience in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the efficient use of resources to avoid wastage and excess costs.
Sales and Marketing Knowledge: Experience in creating and executing sales strategies, promotions, and events to drive business and increase customer engagement.
Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of food safety, alcohol service regulations, and workplace safety requirements to ensure a compliant and safe environment for staff and customers.
