A F&B Attendant is on the front line of guest interactions, and as a Hospitality Ambassador for the resort should always provide prompt and courteous service delivery to all guests.You will be one of the key influencing factors in guest satisfaction, and as such it is your responsibility toensure that guests are delighted by the quality of service and comfort in our food and beverage outlets. Your main duties and responsibilities are to work as a team within all departments, ensuring the timely and efficient operation of the food and beverage outlets. You will have complete knowledge of the menus, beverages, services and facilities provided by the resort, and continuously develop your professional skills to further increase guest satisfaction. You will ensure a safe & hygienic work area, and uphold the privacy rights of the guests.
Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly and courteously upon arrival, escorting them to their tables and offering menus.
Take food and beverage orders from guests accurately, ensuring that any dietary restrictions, preferences, or special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
Serve food and drinks in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that orders are correct and presented according to restaurant standards.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude, attending to guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
Menu Knowledge and Recommendations:
Be knowledgeable about the menu, including food ingredients, preparation methods, and available beverages.
Assist guests with food and beverage choices, making recommendations based on their preferences and the restaurant’s offerings.
Stay updated on daily specials, promotions, and any changes to the menu.
Food and Beverage Handling:
Ensure that all food and beverages are served in accordance with company standards and health and safety regulations.
Handle and store food and beverages properly, ensuring that they are kept at the appropriate temperatures.
Ensure that guests’ orders are served with attention to detail and care, taking extra steps to provide a personalized experience.
Assist with refilling drinks, clearing plates, and checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Ensure that the dining area, tables, and chairs are clean and properly set up before and after service.
Clear dirty dishes from tables and reset for the next guests promptly and efficiently.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including ensuring floors and tables are tidy and free of debris.
High School diploma
Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations
Passion for excellent service
Excellent team player
English speaking
Previous experience in a food and beverage or customer service role (preferred).
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (preferred).
Experience working in a high-paced environment, particularly in a restaurant, hotel, or resort setting, is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to anticipate and meet guests' needs.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple guest requests at the same time, especially during busy periods.
Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in order taking and the presentation of food and beverages.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues during peak service times.
Basic math skills for handling payments and processing checks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
