A Barista is on the front line of guest interactions, and as a Hospitality Ambassador for the resort should always provide prompt and courteous service delivery to all guests. You will be one of the key influencing factors in guest satisfaction, and as such it is your responsibility to ensure that guests are delighted by the quality of service and comfort in our food and beverage outlets. Your main duties and responsibilities are to handle guest questions or concerns, ensuring the timely and efficient operation of the food and beverage outlets. You will have complete knowledge of the menus, beverages, services and facilities provided by the hotel, and continuously develop your professional skills to further increase guest satisfaction. You will ensure a safe & hygienic work area and uphold the privacy rights of the guests.
Coffee & Beverage Preparation:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos), brewed coffee, cold brews, teas, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, drip coffee makers, and blenders, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
Measure and grind coffee beans, calibrate espresso machines, and adjust coffee-making techniques to ensure optimal flavor and consistency.
Create and serve non-coffee beverages such as smoothies, juices, and teas, following café standards and customer requests.
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in choosing coffee and beverages based on their preferences.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and offering product recommendations.
Handle customer complaints, concerns, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction.
High School diploma.
Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations.
Passion for excellent service, and challenge and flexible to work in different shift.
Excellent team player, eyes for details, self-motivated and initiative.
Strong knowledge of coffee types, espresso drinks, and brewing techniques.
Ability to operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment proficiently.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
