The Finance and Accounting Manager will oversee all financial and accounting functions manage budgets and financial statements and provide insights to support strategic decisions. This role requires a handson approach to accounting management along with a strategic analytical perspective on financial planning. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter who thrives in a fastpaced startup environment and is excited to be part of our missiondriven team.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Tax and Accounting Policy Development
- Set up comprehensive finance tax and accounting policies and procedures.
Accounting Management
- Oversee accounts payable receivable payroll and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations ensure accurate transaction recording and manage annual audit preparation.
- Implement internal controls for financial accuracy and asset safeguarding.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Perform financial forecasting budgeting and variance analysis.
- Provide cash flow insights cost management and profitability analysis to guide executive decisions.
- Support fundraising by preparing financial models investor presentations and other key financial documents.
Tax Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local national and international tax regulations.
- File all required tax returns on time and develop tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Stay updated on tax legislation and provide proactive guidance.
Qualifications:
- Willing to relocate to Canggu Bali.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of finance and accounting experience ideally within a startup.
- Proficiency in accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) tax reporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience with financial software (QuickBooks Xero SAP) and financial modeling in Excel.
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- High level of integrity and proactive problemsolving.
