Job Description
Were seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Economics
As a Teacher you will be expected to:
- Have the confidence to teach a range of courses across year groups within the team.
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding relating to relevant aspects of design disciplines including digital processes;
- Have an open minded and flexible approach to teaching and learning showing a desire to develop professional knowledge and skills;
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and the willingness to help develop new resources within the Faculty;
- Have an awareness of current educational developments in this area in the education worldwide.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with Bachelor s Degree or above in relevant subject disciplines plus PGDE/PGCE/B.Ed. qualification
- Be proficient in written and spoken English
- The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with teachers and other relevant professionals parents and students;
- An understanding of current developments in teaching;
- Experience of a range of assessment strategies for identifying students needs and supporting learning;
- A commitment to pastoral care within the school;
- A commitment to developing students skills through extracurricular opportunities.
