Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd is specializing in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas we guide you through the professional registration job placement visa and employment permit processing.
We are hiring Surgical SHO into a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the centre of all we do.
Key Responsibilities
- To follow the Hospital admission process by documenting History and Physical examination.
- To assess review and document findings for patients as requested by the attending Consultant and / or Nursing Staff.
- To provide clinical cover for procedures undertaken in departments e.g. Radiology IVP Injections.
- To prescribe medications for patients as required i.e. as directed by Consultant and all patients admitted are seen by an NCHD and medications prescribed. To act as surgical assistant in the Operating Theatre when required by the attending Consultant as appropriate.
- To respond to emergency situations.
- To maintain effective liaison with medical staff training coordinator nursing staff healthcare staff administrative assistants and NCHD colleagues.
- To respond to any Adverse Occurrences e.g. injuries falls sudden illnesses etc suffered by patients visitors or staff.
- To actively engage in agreed Medical Staff Education Programme: both on site and at other hospitals.
Requirements
- Basic medical degree MBBS or equivalent
- Current Medical Council Registration
- Minimum of two years previous relevant experience
