Job Description
Manager Sales Data Analytics
Pune MH
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow develop and manage team to own daily processing documentation and oversight of raw data into core data tables usable for reporting and analytics
- This will be a new team built out over approximately a three year period to encompass roles focused initially on data engineering and documentation but expanding into Power BI support and ETL development
- Exercises curiosity to partner with business and analytics professionals to understand the use cases for data and ensure that data structures and content meet business needs
- Uses initiative to proactively identify and mitigate risks to data integrity through collaborative process improvements leveraging business rapport to influence without authority and lead organizational change in the cause of better data
- Builds rapport with Americas team and collaborating partner teams to foster inclusive oneteam culture
- Build and maintain sales reporting environment based on experience in data architecture data warehousing principles and handson experience in full information lifecycle from data origination to data consumption
- Collaborate with Data Architects application partners and Solutions Engineers on technology both onprem and cloud ensuring solutions are scalable reliable and secure to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Defines individual performance objectives and development plans and ensures alignment with organizational objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8 years experience with Data Architecture/Data Warehousing database (Snowflake SQL Server) BI Tools (Power BI) ETL tools and/or development technologies preferred
- 5 years in structured multinational businesses preferred
- 3 years of business experience supporting analytics teams preferred
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technical field or equivalent professional experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills particularly in bridging communications across high and lowcontext cultures
- Expert skill level in SQL able to decipher the intent of queries that have already been written and collaborate with business process experts to translate existing logic into business terms
- Experience coordinating multiple noncollocated teams to achieve desired outcomes
- Familiarity with ETL tools best practices review board polices in a corporate environment
- Lifelong learner
- Comfortable with ambiguity and with exercising curiosity to effectively meet needs of key partners
- Embraces technical challenges
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- Ability to work in standard office environment
TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED
Occasional travel may be required on an annual basis
