Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mobile DevOps Engineer to join our team playing a crucial role in the development and deployment of mobile applications providing support for the IT Infrastructure of one of our global pharmaceutical clients.
As a Mobile DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for automating and streamlining the mobile development and deployment processes ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of mobile applications.
Main Tasks
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for Android and iOS applications using tools like Jenkins CircleCI or GitLab CI/CD.
- Infrastructure Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Deployment Automation: Automate the deployment of mobile applications to app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) and internal distribution channels.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the performance and health of mobile applications in production troubleshoot issues and implement fixes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that mobile applications adhere to security best practices and industry standards.
Requirements
- Fluent English
- Over a year of experience as a Mobile DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Proven track record of automating mobile development and deployment processes
- Strong understanding of mobile app development (Android and iOS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Ruby Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins CircleCI GitLab CI/CD)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
- Experience with mobile app testing frameworks (Appium XCTest)
- Understanding of security best practices for mobile applications
