Job Description
Our Linear Infrastructure discipline is growing in Spain so we are currently looking to hire an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Madrid team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects either as standalone civil infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors.
Together with colleagues from other countries you may have the opportunity to work on some of the most important Civil projects in Europe and Spain.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Work is accomplished autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects within established procedures and practices related to civil infrastructures
Independently preparing design calculations or reports related to civil infrastructure elements
Performs civil engineering work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
Performs a selfcheck of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff. Identifies discrepancies in results.
Prepares project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members.
Provides guidance to entry level engineers if needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering
- Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written). Other languages could be a plus.
- Proven track record of working in civil projects ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Autocad Civil3D or any other geometric design software will be a must.
