Senior Litigation Legal Assistant
Our client a leading law firm is looking for a proactive and diligent individual to support its teams in litigation cases economic crimes and business criminal law. You will hold a central role by providing varied administrative support that facilitates the daily work of attorneys. From preparing legal documents to managing communications and organizing meetings you will directly contribute to the smooth operations and success of the firms most strategic legal projects
What is in it for you:
Competitive salary: Between $70.000 and $78.000 per year.
Permanent fulltime position: 35 hours per week.
Flexible schedule: Monday through Friday with possible work hours from 8 am to 4 pm 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Wednesday is mandatory in the office with the freedom to choose the other two days of presence.

Responsibilities:
You will play a key role in the daily management of litigation activities economic crimes government investigations and business criminal law. By providing essential administrative and secretarial support you will enable legal professionals to fully focus on their clients. Your responsibilities will include correspondence preparing legal documents organizing meetings and much more.
Secretarial and Correspondence:
Drafting and revising correspondence legal opinions procedures agreements and other legal documents.
Transcription from tapes handwritten notes and telephone messages.
Document comparison using Workshare mail tracking and archive management.
Photocopying scanning and exchanging correspondence with legal professionals and clients.
Support for Legal Procedures:
Formatting procedures and legal memos.
Coordinating with bailiffs and court reporters for service filings and other court requirements.
Tracking court schedules calculating deadlines and updating files.
Preparing and managing procedure binders and authorities books.
File Management:
Filing documents opening and labeling folders and binders.
Archiving inactive files and opening files with conflict checks in NBI.
Communication Management:
Managing incoming calls and tracking calls for professionals.
Organizing meetings and video conferences booking conference rooms and ordering meals.
Varied Administrative Support:
Managing agendas and calendars via Outlook as well as electronic filing of emails.
Booking travel hotels and restaurants for business trips.
Conferences and Seminars:
Preparing approval memos managing preliminary budgets and registering professionals.
Finalizing expense notes and postevent reimbursement requests.
What you will need to succeed:
8 years of experience in a similar legal administrative position.
Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Outlook OnePlace PowerPoint) as well as Workshare.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding environment.
Excellent mastery of the French and English languages both spoken and written to converse with Englishspeaking and Frenchspeaking clients.
