Job Description
This is a remote position.
As a Bookkeeper in this pivotal role you ll spearhead a comprehensive financial overhaul transitioning from QuickBooks desktop to online while implementing structured processes for enhanced efficiency. You ll be instrumental in bringing order to the company s financial landscape establishing clear reporting systems and setting the foundation for sustainable growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact directly influencing the company s financial health and operational success.
- Lead the transition from QuickBooks desktop to QuickBooks online ensuring data integrity and system optimization
- Manage Basic Payroll via a payroll app
- Organize and manage company books implementing best practices for financial recordkeeping
- Streamline accounts payable and receivable processes for improved cash flow management
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial records
- Create comprehensive monthly P&Ls and execute timely monthend closes
- Develop and implement efficient billing processes and payment systems
- Establish a structured financial reporting system to provide clear insights into company performance
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage company accounts effectively
- Contribute to financial strategy discussions offering insights based on financial data analysis
Requirements
- Proven expertise in QuickBooks with handson experience in both desktop and online versions
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage complex financial data
- Demonstrated experience in restructuring and optimizing disorganized financial systems
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting financial reports with a focus on P&Ls and cash flow statements
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
- Ability to work US business hours (Eastern Time Zone)
- Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to problemsolving and process improvement
- Adaptability to work in a fastpaced evolving business environment
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or financial management roles
