Job Description
The Senior Software Project Manager will oversee the planning execution and
successful completion of complex software projects. This role requires a seasoned professional
with strong leadership skills extensive experience in software development and a proven track
record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
o Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior
management and stakeholders.
o Develop detailed project plans timelines and resource allocations.
o Coordinate and manage project activities ensuring all phases are completed on
time within scope and within budget.
Team Leadership:
o Lead and motivate crossfunctional project teams providing clear direction and
support.
o Foster a collaborative and highperformance team environment.
o Manage team performance and provide constructive feedback.
Stakeholder Communication:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
o Communicate project status progress and potential risks to stakeholders and
senior management.
o Ensure alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations.
Risk Management:
o Identify assess and manage project risks.
o Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
o Monitor and report on project risks and issues ensuring timely resolution.
Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
o Implement and oversee testing and validation processes.
o Facilitate continuous improvement and best practices in project management.
Budget Management:
o Develop and manage project budgets ensuring costeffectiveness and resource
optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (Master s degree
- preferred).
- PMP PRINCE2 or similar project management certification.
- 5 years of experience in software project management.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile
- methodologies.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g. Zoho Jira Trello etc.)
