Job Description

Position: HVAC Design Engineer

Job Description:

Max Aircon Pvt. Ltd. a prominent HVAC solutions provider based in Pune is seeking a talented and experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our team. As an HVAC Design Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing and developing HVAC systems for various projects. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed designs conducting simulations and collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient and effective HVAC solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development: Develop detailed HVAC system designs including layout drawings schematics and specifications based on project requirements and client needs.

2. System Simulation: Use HVAC design software to perform load calculations energy simulations and airflow analysis to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.

3. Equipment Selection: Select appropriate HVAC equipment components and materials based on project specifications budget constraints and industry standards.

4. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to project teams including engineers technicians and contractors during the implementation and commissioning phases.

5. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all HVAC designs comply with relevant codes regulations and standards including energy efficiency ratings and environmental guidelines.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with architects mechanical engineers and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into building designs and construction plans.

7. Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing project cost estimates proposals and bid documents by providing accurate HVAC design information and material requirements.

8. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including design drawings calculations technical specifications and project reports.

9. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify that HVAC installations meet design specifications and quality standards.

10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in HVAC technology trends and best practices to enhance design capabilities and innovation.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2. 3 to 4 years of experience in HVAC system design preferably in commercial or industrial projects.

3. Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD Revit MEP Carrier HAP or equivalent tools.

4. Strong knowledge of HVAC principles equipment components and systems.

5. Ability to perform load calculations duct sizing equipment selection and system optimization.

6. Familiarity with building codes energy codes ASHRAE standards and environmental regulations.

7. Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.

8. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.

9. Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in design work.

10. Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
