DevOps Principal Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in a technical lead role. You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring the smooth integration and deployment of software applications. Collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams you will gather requirements design and implement solutions optimize system performance and establish security best practices. Additionally you will mentor and guide the team technically with a strong focus on enhancing quality and driving optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate code testing integration and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform Ansible to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
• Cloud Management: Deploy manage and monitor applications in cloud environments such as AWS optimizing for cost performance and security.
• Automation and Scripting: Automate routine and repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ) to ensure system health and quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues optimize application performance and support release management.
• Security Compliance: Implement security best practices in the DevOps process ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes ensuring scalability and reliability in production environments.
• Mentoring : Mentor a team of DevOps professionals fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture
• Continuous Improvement: Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.

Qualifications :

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering  or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer for 5 years with a lead role for atleast 1years.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CI/CD and version control tools (GitHub Github Actions git) cloud platforms (AWS) configuration management tools (Ansible Chef Puppet).
• Programming and Scripting: Strong experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Infrastructure as Code: Handson experience with IaC tools like Terraform and  Ansible.
• Process: Implement branching strategies and code review processes to enhance code quality and collaboration.
• Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana or Splunk.
• System and networking: Familiarity with system administration tasks including managing Linux and Windows servers configuring network services and ensuring system security and performance optimization.
• ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms DevOps tools or related technologies are a plus.
• Security Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
