Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Sign Language Interpreter for an assignment in Narnaul Haryana on November 11 2024. The interpreter will be required to facilitate communication between deaf and hearing individuals during the event/meeting. The assignment involves interpreting spoken language into sign language and vice versa ensuring clear and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into sign language (and vice versa) during meetings events or discussions.
- Provide accurate realtime translation while maintaining confidentiality.
- Adapt to various communication styles and contexts ensuring that the message is conveyed clearly and respectfully.
- Ensure that both parties (deaf and hearing) have equal access to information.
Requirements
Benefits
Certification in Sign Language Interpretation (preferably from a recognized institution or body). Proven experience as a sign language interpreter, preferably in professional or event settings. Strong fluency in Indian Sign Language (ISL) or other relevant regional sign languages. Good understanding of cultural and contextual nuances related to deaf communities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
