Job Description
- Simple Lighting are a online ecommerce retailer based inside the United Kingdom (Near Liverpool).
- We work primarily with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) however we are always looking at new softwares & solutions therefore we might request work with as follows:
- Shopify
- Big Commerce
- Shopware
- Odoo
- Zoho
- As a midlevel web developer you will work under our senior lead and be allocated task through each day.
- You should be self motivated happy to work in quiet/alone be handson and you should be full of ideas on ways to
- improve our website and ultimately our revenue/conversion rates.
- The types of tasks which are we looking to complete are:
- Support the current website ensuring that the site is fully updated for security reasons fixing any bugs and developing new features
- Rebuild the frontend of our Magento website in the Hyva Theme ()
- Develop a Mobile App connected to our magento store for IoS and Android
- Build Api connections to our accounting solutions and any other relevant internally used systems
- Create new modules/features subject to business practices to increase our conversion rates
- Build several microsites and landing pages to assist in the businesses sales efforts growing company revenue.
Requirements
- Front End Development Essential
- Back end Development Nice to have
- GIT Essential
- Creating website designs (Nice to have)
- Creating landing pages & funnels (Nice to have)
- Java including JQuery vue.js Essential
- NextJS (Ideal but not essential)
- Postgres (Ideal but not essential)
- You should have at least 3 years experience in Magento 2 Development (Adobe Commerce) Essential
- Almost all of the above experience should be in ecommerce Essential
- PHP Essential
- My SQL Essential
- Nginx (Ideal but not essential)
- Zend Framework
- Apache (Ideal but not essential
