Position Overview
The Executive Director (ED) at Axionova Engineering Limited will serve as a visionary leader responsible for steering the organization toward strategic growth operational excellence and superior service delivery. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors the ED will drive the companys mission enhance operational efficiencies and strengthen client and industry partnerships. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of civil engineering principles a track record in executive leadership and an aptitude for fostering innovation and continuous improvement within a fastpaced resultsdriven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Vision & Mission Alignment: Champion Axionovas mission and values ensuring alignment across all organizational activities and initiatives.
Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of longterm strategic goals promoting sustainable growth and scalability.
Market Positioning: Analyze industry trends emerging technologies and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and guide business development strategies.
Change Management: Drive organizational transformation initiatives to enhance business agility and adaptability.
Operational Management
Business Operations: Oversee the operational framework ensuring processes policies and resources are effectively managed to maximize efficiency.
Resource Allocation: Direct resources efficiently prioritizing key projects and aligning team efforts with organizational goals.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure all engineering solutions meet Axionovas high standards for performance safety and reliability.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track organizational performance and inform decisionmaking.
Financial Stewardship
Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Oversee budget planning financial forecasting and expense management to maintain financial health and sustainability.
Revenue Growth: Collaborate with the finance team to set revenue targets create strategies for profitability and monitor financial performance.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect organizational assets and interests.
Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
Team Leadership and Development
Executive Team Management: Guide the senior management team fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and excellence.
Talent Acquisition: Work with HR to attract top talent enhancing Axionovas reputation as an employer of choice in the engineering industry.
Employee Development: Implement training and development initiatives to upskill staff promote career growth and enhance organizational capability.
Performance Evaluation: Lead performance evaluations for senior staff setting clear goals and ensuring continuous feedback.
Client & Industry Engagement
Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients ensuring client satisfaction and fostering longterm partnerships.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a representative for Axionova in industry forums conferences and community events.
Business Development: Collaborate with the business development team to secure new projects contracts and business opportunities.
Public Relations: Represent Axionova in the media industry panels and public forums strengthening the companys image and brand.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1015 years of experience in engineering management including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role within the engineering sector.
Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; PMP or similar certifications a plus.
Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams manage complex projects and foster an inclusive highperformance work environment.
