Job Title:
Product Manager
1. Job Summary – highlight project details/what is exciting about the role :
Create a functional design based on business requirements. Support on the technical
implementation validate test case results and support onsite Product manager
Support QPP each quarter and create/ present products/ projects in scope for the next quarter
based on annual roadmap whilst providing Key objectives key results expected from the
implementation.
Support Account team time to time with the required Governance stakeholder metrices
provide value add by participating in trainings or taking training sessions and hackathons.
Create Artifacts as required by client in Confluence using Lucid charts Jira product scope or
requirements documentation.
Follow the working agreement set by client and Cognizant and provide an overlap of 45 hours
to the client in the evening hours.
Collaboration with the thirdparty business partners upstream and downstream team
members in offshore hours/ onsite hours as required.

Functional Business analyst in a banking and payments services
environment.
Must be able to work in a fast paced and matrixed environment.
Should be proactive and selfstarter with ability to prioritize tasks vs time.
Strong customer orientation and excellent research and problemsolving skills
with a focus attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
Drive the scrum grooming and planning ceremonies.
Provide prioritization of stories for each sprint create N1 product backlog
ready within 1 2 quarters and then N2 from 4th quarter onwards
Attend scrum ceremonies and required meetings with the scrum team
upstream/ downstream cross functional team to drive product till Go live
Provide guidance to scrum team and collaborate with tech team to create
stories as required for the sprint

3. Job Requirements : PCE Product Manager
Essential Skills: (Must
have)
Collaborate with the client and the Tech & Design teams to ideate new
experiences & features elaborate features into epics and stories
document functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Collaborate with the client to create road maps and conducting QPP
planning breakout sessions walk the wall sessions.
Participate in product discovery phase and provide insights &
enhancements that would benefit the end customer.
Drow flow diagrams for the features function flow so that business team
and tech team will able to understand requirements.
Take complete ownership of the product and monitor the product
performance through relevant metrices.
Develop personas in conjunction with the Design team.
Advocate on behalf of the customer for the engineering and design team
Assist the Product Owners Product Managers and Scrum Masters in
prioritizing the product and sprint backlog.
Be the functional champion for the technical and design team while
fostering collaboration among the team members.
Work closely with engineering and quality assurance to ensure the
problems are identified early and product evolves delivering superior
customer experience.
Prepare and host the sprint review demonstrating what was ‘Done’ and
what was not ‘Done’ receive feedback from the (key) stakeholders and
collaborate on the next steps to optimize the products’ value.
Prioritize defect or bug resolution and assist in finding and documenting
the root cause.
Domain skills (Must
have)
Should have strong knowledge in the overall banking domain:
oPartner onboarding Process for open banking or connected
finance.
Must possess one additional domain knowledge of the banking industry
other than payments to meet the changing needs of the customers
Must have knowledge on service now tool API working like graphQL
Postman tool.
Technical Skills
handson knowledge of Jira Confluence SQL queries writing Figma
and Visio draw.io design tools etc. Postman Swagger
Basic understanding of databases including Pep (NACHA file batch
processing) Hogan system (transactions processing) API services
Casandra (subscription APIs) Mongo DB (Admin portal database)
and SQL (money movement)
Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
Google chrome Internet browser
Service now basic knowledge to raise tickets
Qualifications:
MBA (Banking or financial Managment)
Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science (mandatory)
Product owner certification (CSPO Scaled agile PO/PM)
