This is a remote position.
Role Name: Bookkeeper Plumbing Industry
Schedule:
- Fulltime Monday to Friday 8am 6pm PST with 1 hour unpaid break (8 paid hours per day)
- Client Timezone: Pacific Time (PST)

Job Description
As a Bookkeeper for this dynamic plumbing enterprise you ll play a crucial role in shaping the company s financial future. You ll manage daily transactions generate insightful reports and provide valuable financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with various revenue streams including home warranty services retail work and new construction projects. Your expertise will directly impact the company s growth and profitability making you an integral part of the team.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including invoicing and bank reconciliations
- Categorize and organize financial data from multiple revenue streams
- Generate weekly financial reports and create visual representations of data
- Perform job costing analysis to determine profitability of individual projects
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure accurate and timely financial recordkeeping
- Collaborate with dispatch and field teams to maintain precise job information
- Prepare financial information for tax purposes
Requirements
- Proven bookkeeping experience preferably in service or construction industries
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with job costing and projectbased accounting (preferred)
- Adaptability to learn new systems and processes quickly
