Job Description
This is a remote position.
Position Title: Senior AccountantWork Setup: Work From Home
Salary: Php 60000.00 Php 80000.00
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM PH Time

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant:
Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
Manage and ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations including BAS GST PAYG and FBT and support yearend tax return preparation.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities providing analysis and insights to aid in strategic financial planning.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable bank statements and other financial statements.
Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian payroll legislation and award conditions.
Coordinate and prepare for audits ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information to auditors.
Provide financial guidance and strategic advice to management on improving financial operations and performance.
Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems driving efficiencies and streamlining workflows.
Qualifications as a Senior Accountant:
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years focused on Australian accounting practices.
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or CA certification is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB Xero or QuickBooks; advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and ATO regulations.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) is a plus.
Previous experience in a multientity or global organization.
Strong problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
