What you will bring:
- Oversee Maintenance Operations: Manage all maintenance activities to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
- Lead a Team: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance staff fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Departments: Work closely with other departments to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations while implementing best practices for facility management.
- Manage Projects: Oversee maintenance projects from planning through execution ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Minimum requirements:
- Educational Background: Grade 12/Matric Certificate is essential; a tertiary qualification in Maintenance Management is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 35 years experience in a similar position with demonstrated project management or supervisory experience.
- Technical Skills: Extensive technical knowledge in maintenance practices including familiarity with architectural drawings and layouts.
- Certifications: OHAS qualification is advantageous; previous experience in the hospitality sector is a plus.
