You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a nurturing and dedicated InfantToddler Teacher to join our passionate team at our center located on the East side of Columbus Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in providing highquality care and early childhood education to infants and toddlers during their most formative years.
Responsibilities:
Create a warm safe and nurturing environment that supports the physical emotional and cognitive development of infants and toddlers.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote exploration discovery and learning in all areas of development.
Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures including diapering feeding and naptime routines to ensure the wellbeing of each child in your care.
Observe and document childrens progress and developmental milestones using assessments to inform individualized planning and goalsetting.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team environment sharing ideas resources and best practices in early childhood education.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in the field of early childhood education.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; Associates degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required.
Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants and toddlers including an understanding of attachment theory and responsive caregiving.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with children parents and colleagues.
Patience empathy and a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and communications.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
