Job Description
Enova Group was created in Geneva and is providing IT services made in Switzerland since 2018. Enova consulting is a company specialized in information technology at first: our activities are focused on the most demanded IT skills but not only. We can create and adapt offers in other technical domains such as engineering or pharmaceutical but overall we are able to provide artificial intelligence or data science and engineering services with Enova Data now.
Tasks
We are looking for a System Architect for a Swiss company active in the development of innovative solutions for air traffic control. Their main ambition is to transform existing
software legacy in a set of horizontally scalable autonomous and cloud ready components leveraging micro services architecture.
Your profile
3 years of experience in (distributed) System Architecture
5 years of experience in software development and distributed systems
implementation
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. CI/CD Docker Kubernetes)
Good communication skills
Fluent written and spoken English is required French is a plus
Experience in the Air Traffic Management domain would be a plus
Requirements
The System Architect role is a key role for the development of the company products he is responsible to identify and document optimum solutions adapted to the clients context guide the software engineering team and ensure that the software will be aligned with Company Rules and Industry Best Practices. The role includes working at different levels of abstraction in the design process and interacting with all the involved stakeholders: clients system architects software engineers safety and compliance teams etc.
System/Software Architecture:
Identify the System/Software Architecture Standards/Rules
Analyse and understand System/Software Requirements to translate them into a
comprehensive System/Software Architecture then document and maintain the
associated architecture documentation.
Ensure systems are scalable reliable and meet performance requirements.
Identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
Prior to starting the development of new functions or components design the top
level structure of the softwarr then guide the software engineering team to
implement the identified Software Architecture
Support Software Verification Engineers to define integration verification approach
integration Means of Verification and architectural elements Means of Verification.
Understand the implications of regulatory constraints on system architecture.
Perform and document security and safety assurance activities in close
collaboration with the technical experts and provide guidance on the implementation
of the conclusions.
Participate in consulting missions and provide guidance to external clients in
architecture related topics.
Products Roadmap:
Organise and document the companys product roadmap for software components
aiming to be reused in various applications
Produce and maintain an improvement roadmap for the legacy applications currently
used by our customers (monitor libraries obsolescence identify weak points
propose performance improvement measures identify need of stabilizations etc.)
