Tasks
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced (Senior) Analog/MixedSignal Design Engineer to join our cuttingedge hardware development team. The role involves contributing to the full IC design stack from concept to successful silicon implementation including toplevel integration postlayout verification and final design signoff. Experience with PCB design system integration and chiptesting is a strong plus.
Design simulate and validate analog and mixedsignal integrated circuits including opamps lowpower and lowleakage circuits logic and memory blocks. - Lead and participate in all stages of the IC design process including:
- Schematic design and simulation
- Layout and parasitic extraction
- Design and performance verification (postlayout simulations)
- Toplevel integration and signoff
- Drive the circuit design with an emphasis on lowpower performance lowleakage and noise robustness.
- Ensure proper physical design implementation.
- Assist with boardlevel design integration and testing.
- Debug silicon prototypes in the lab working on performance optimization and issue resolution.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure that designs meet the systemlevel requirements.
- Support the preparation of detailed technical documentation for design testing and verification processes.
Requirements
- You are an innovative Analog Design Engineer with a deep understanding in advanced analog design theory and a strong background in analog/mixedsignal circuit design built around lowpower and lowleakage circuits. Essential:
Masters (or PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on integrated circuit design (analog/mixedsignal). - 5 years of experience in analog/mixedsignal IC design.
- Proven track record with 3 successful tapeouts involving complex IC design flows (65nm or below is a plus).
- Strong expertise in designing opamps lowpower and lowleakage circuits.
- Experience with industrystandard design tools (preferably Cadence Virtuoso).
- Proficiency in parasitic extraction postlayout simulation and verification methodologies (MC corner).
- Understanding of device physics and fabrication processes to optimize design performance.
- Strong problemsolving skills analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and contribute to innovative solutions. Preferred:
- Familiarity with advanced CMOS process nodes (e.g. 65nm and below).
- Experience with PCB design (e.g. Altium Designer) and debugging of analog/mixedsignal circuits.
- Experience with data converters (ADCs/DACs) filters logic and memory blocks as well as other mixedsignal blocks and methods.
- Experience in AI research and development.
