Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Recruitment Process Management:
  • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to fulfill client requirements.
  • Perform background checks and calling references.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
  • Source candidates using databases, social media, and professional networks.
  • Screen resumes and job applications to identify suitable candidates.
  • Conduct interviews, both in-person and remotely, to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Coordinate interviews with clients and facilitate communication between clients and candidates.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to meet staffing goals and deadlines.
  • Provide support and guidance to recruiters.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment legislation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions.
  • Prepare reports on recruitment activities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Share knowledge and insights with the team to enhance overall performance.
  • Job Posting and Sourcing Candidates:

    • Create compelling job descriptions based on hiring manager specifications and post job openings on job boards, career sites, social media, and other relevant platforms.
    • Use recruitment tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS systems) to source potential candidates.
    • Actively search for candidates through direct outreach (cold calling, networking, or using social media platforms like LinkedIn).
  • Screening and Interviewing:

    • Review resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
    • Conduct initial screening calls or video interviews to evaluate candidates' suitability for the role.
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other relevant team members.
  • Candidate Experience and Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates to create a talent pipeline.
    • Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
    • Provide feedback to candidates following interviews and assist with any questions they may have.

Desired candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with various sourcing techniques, including social media recruiting and Boolean search.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment techniques, best practices, and labor legislation.
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience as a Recruiter, preferably within an outsourcing or staffing agency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Knowledge of Qatar labor laws and regulations.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are mandatory.
