Job Summary:
As a Virtual Medical Intake Representative you will remotely manage the initial patient experience handling phone and patient portal communications registering patients scheduling appointments and coordinating patient needs with empathy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remote Communication Management: Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism handle patient inquiries and manage electronic correspondence to ensure timely followup.
- Patient Registration: Accurately register new patients in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system doublechecking all data entries to avoid errors and maintain data integrity.

Document Coordination: Send messages to new patients detailing necessary forms and providing deadlines to ensure all required information is collected efficiently.

Scheduling: Schedule and confirm patient appointments managing the calendar to optimize workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Secure Data Handling: Uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations managing patient information with utmost discretion.
- Accountability in Remote Environment: Report daily activity summaries to the supervisor and maintain open communication channels to ensure consistent productivity and support in a virtual setting.

Technology Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office 365, DrChrono EMR software, and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Time Management & Accountability: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage time to meet daily goals and reporting requirements. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage patients empathetically and professionally. Education
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical administration or office management is a plus.
