FHSA is seeking an experienced Program Lead (Supply Chain Operations & Technology Access) to join the team. The Project Lead will spearhead the implementation of key interventions designed to improve supply chain operations management and access to technology for micro small and medium food processors. This role focuses on supporting FLBs in enhancing operational efficiency optimizing raw material sourcing improving food safety and adopting appropriate technologies. The Project Lead will work closely with various stakeholders businesses and technical experts to ensure that FLBs can achieve costeffective production improved product quality and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:
Lead the Supply Chain and Operations Management Intervention:
- Optimize operations of FLBs to minimize costs associated with reaching lowincome consumers (LICs).
- Address operational constraints including raw material sourcing food safety packaging logistics product development and equipment sourcing.
- Facilitate technical assistance from food technologists and business development service providers tailored to the needs of FLBs.
- Build partnerships with produce aggregators distributors logistics firms and other value chain actors to enhance business efficiency.
- Develop strategies to reduce food loss and waste including implementing improved food safety practices.
Oversee the Technology Access Intervention:
- Provide tailored support for SMEs and microprocessing clusters in process design equipment sourcing installation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with local equipment fabricators vendors and engineering service providers to ensure access to durable and suitable machinery.
- Conduct return on investment analyses and support plant layout optimization for FLBs.
- Partner with key stakeholders including the Federal Institute of Industrial Research Technology
- Incubator Hubs and the Equipment Fabricators Association of Nigeria.
Monitoring Evaluation and Reporting:
- Work with the M&E lead to track the impact of interventions ensuring that FLBs achieve targeted improvements in efficiency and cost reduction.
- Prepare detailed reports case studies and success stories highlighting the outcomes of the interventions.
- Utilize datadriven insights to refine intervention strategies and improve support delivery.

- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Food Science Business Administration or a related field. A Master s degree is an added advantage.
- 57 years of experience in project management supply chain optimization or operations management preferably within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in advising on equipment selection process optimization and operational improvements.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by SMEs in accessing technology and implementing efficient operations.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage complex projects.
