Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Solution Architect with a strong background in Storage Network Engineering specifically in PowerEdge storage environments. This role involves managing and optimizing server and network infrastructure while handling incident coordination and troubleshooting for a robust IT environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network administration and will work onsite to ensure seamless operations and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Serve as an expert in server and network infrastructure ensuring high availability and efficient operations.
- Incident Management: Perform service incident coordination open service requests on behalf of the customer and lead incident isolation and troubleshooting.
- Log and Report Management: Monitor manage and review log files to track incidents and performance; generate regular operational reports to document and communicate system status and improvements.
- Root Cause Analysis: Actively participate in root cause analysis reviews to identify and resolve recurring issues contributing to continuous improvement.
- Customer and User Support: Manage and respond to customer and user requests promptly to ensure high satisfaction and effective service delivery.
- Process Optimization: Recommend and implement procedural changes to optimize operational efficiency and performance. Share best practices learned from other engagements to enhance the current processes.
- Solution Documentation: Assist in documenting policies and procedures working closely with compliance managers and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with best practices and standards.
- Configuration Management: Perform any necessary incremental host and network configuration beyond the initial deployment scope ensuring all systems are optimized for peak performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Network Administration Expertise: Extensive experience as a Network Administrator with proven expertise in server and network infrastructure.
- Storage Experience: Handson experience with PowerEdge storage systems.
- Incident Response Skills: Ability to effectively isolate troubleshoot and resolve network and serverrelated incidents.
- Analytical and Reporting Skills: Strong skills in log management report generation and root cause analysis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers users and internal teams.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to assist with policy and procedure documentation ensuring clear accurate and accessible records.
