Role Overview
The Software Engineer at Nebulon Dynamics Limited will play an integral role in developing and refining digital solutions that empower our engineering projects. This isnt a typical software roleits a unique opportunity to integrate cuttingedge software development with engineering systems creating tools that redefine standards across civil and architectural engineering. The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering background understands engineering principles and is committed to developing solutions that meet rigorous industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Engineering Software: Design code and implement software applications and systems that support civil structural and architectural projects from simulations and modeling tools to data analysis platforms.
Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with structural civil and architectural engineers to understand project needs develop customized software tools and ensure software solutions are fully aligned with engineering requirements.
Optimize and Scale Solutions: Focus on developing scalable software solutions that accommodate complex datasets rigorous testing processes and realtime simulations ensuring high performance across all projects.
Innovate and Integrate: Explore and integrate emerging technologies (such as AI machine learning and cloud computing) to improve the efficiency accuracy and adaptability of our software systems.
Maintain Software Quality and Security: Uphold the highest standards of software quality and cybersecurity ensuring our systems meet industry regulations and best practices.
Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and user guides to facilitate smooth integration and usage by engineering teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: 3 years of software engineering experience with a preference for candidates experienced in developing tools for civil or structural engineering applications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python C and Java and experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask. Familiarity with CAD software 3D modeling or simulation software is highly desirable.
Database Proficiency: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases as well as experience in managing and optimizing large datasets.
Cloud Computing: Handson experience with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud particularly in developing scalable cloudbased engineering applications.
Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information to nontechnical team members.
ProblemSolving: Demonstrated ability to approach complex engineering challenges with innovative software solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Engineering Software Development: Prior experience developing software for civil or structural engineering applications such as structural analysis tools or CADintegrated solutions.
Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
Adaptability: Ability to rapidly adjust in a fastpaced engineering environment and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
