What Youll Do
As a Natural History Expert at Catawiki with a specialty in taxidermy you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and arranging the lots submitted by our users. Using your indepth knowledge and broad network within the Natural History field you will be responsible for curating and creating compelling lot listings weekly making them highly appealing to our vast audience of collectors.
Catawiki aims to uphold a high standard of transparency and fairness in user transactions and your expertise is critical in achieving this. With a keen eye for detail you will review lot titles descriptions and images providing users with reliable estimated values and professional advice. If an item doesnt meet our standards youll communicate this professionally and courteously.
Were looking for a wellrounded Natural History generalist with a passion for Taxidermy in particular based in the Netherlands France or Spain who can work effectively under pressure. You will represent Catawikis commercial interests strategically contributing to growing our platform while building relationships with sellers and buyers. Your role will require remote collaboration within our team demanding strong communication and stakeholder management skills to keep all parties aligned and informed.
Where Youll Be
As an integral part of our Natural History & Collectibles department youll preferably be based in the Netherlands France or Spain with a flexible workfromhome arrangement that allows you to connect with a global team.

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means we typically ask you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days roughly 40% of your working time to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. Of course if the job description specifies that the role is 100% remotesuch as for certain expert or sales positionsthen that arrangement will apply.
